If you are reading this blog, you are probably starting with little or no money or equipment, so I will be coming from the tree service from this point of view. What are the bare basics you need to get started with this business.
The first thing you need is knowledge about how to cut down trees. This is an art and the only way to learn is from someone who is experienced. Get someone to take you through the steps of cutting down a tree. Each tree has its own personality and after time you can start reading a tree, but knowledge is the biggest thing you will need to get started in this business.
There are ways to get buy with every other piece of equipment which I hope to share, but you can not skip on knowledge.
